The Tools to Feel GOOD!
On Wednesday of last week, I had a tight schedule. I kissed my wife in the kitchen and went over to kiss the heads of my two kids and give them as much of a quick hug as I could with them still seated at the breakfast table.
As I headed toward the door my second born came after me pushing a little plastic chair noisily over the ceramic tile. “What is she doing with that chair?” I wondered. “Wait a minute Daddy”! She was picking up speed. “I wan’ give you hug”.
Reaching me while still in the utility room she pushed the chair up next to my legs, stepped up on it and threw her arms around me. Pretty soon my first born was there making for a triple hug!
