My Victory Journal
I started building my “Victory Journal” today. I must give credit to Pat Croce and Scott Van Niekerk for this idea. Pat actually has a book out designed to be written in called “Victory Journal”.
He stated in our interview for the Cash Practice Secrets home study course that you should write down when good things happen to you and when you’ve done a good job on something. Then “when your balloons are popping” take this journal out and read it.
Scott Van Niekirk, PT saves all the thank-you’s he receives from patients and puts them in a book which is kept in the lobby. He has clients look at that book before he speaks to them in a consult.
I started my book with a binder and some sheet protectors. Now it is filled with thank-you, christmas, Valentine, and email thank-you’s I’ve received from patients. I also wrote down a few lines about a patient that requested ME by name yesterday when I hadn’t even seen her for years and in fact didn’t remember her at all.
When my patients begin PT with me, I explain and have them sign permission for us to publish their testimonial. This keeps me working my hardest to please them and lets them know I am serious about helping them.
I’m sure you’ve done something great today. Now WRITE IT DOWN!
All the best,
Lance
